mdh - This is unbelievable! Just last night I was viewing all the bands Tony Burrows has been in and has sung lead for. I thought about posting each of the songs you mentioned on separate days then revealing they were all sung by the same person. Just too bizarre the coincidence! I actually purchased "Love Grows..." when I was in junior high and still OWN the 45. In high school (I believe it may have been or soon after), I bought the LP that has "Beach Baby" on it. I must have given it to my sister as it's been missing for years now, and I never tossed any albums out. I remember thinking "Beach Baby" was the best song on the LP and the other songs didn't do that much for me. I remember seeing a YouTube video a few years back where Tony Burrows said both bands, Edison Lighthouse and White Plains, were scheduled to appear on the same TV show. He said he had to run to change clothes after one group's performance to quickly be on stage for the other. And, I have always liked "My Baby Loves Lovin'". Makes perfect sense being that it's the same singer even though I didn't know it back then.
