mdh - Excellent choice going with England Dan and John Ford Coley! They are one of my favorite duos from the 70s. I OWN the LP from which "Westward Wind" is from as well as a couple of other releases of theirs. "Westward Wind" is a very nice song. It's unfortunate that they didn't have a larger history of releases like Dewey and Gerry have. I don't know if you are aware of the following, but I thought it was interesting: John Ford Coley's real name is "John Edward Colley". And, Dan Seals was called "England Dan" by his brother because he liked the Beatles a lot and would occasionally speak with a British accent. I don't know if you chose "ED & JFC" knowing my choice of Little Texas has a connection to a member of that band. Former singer and songwriter for Little Texas is Brady Seals who is a cousin of Dan and his brother Jim of Seals and Crofts. And, Brady Seals was my second entry on this thread. He was the one singing with Dash Crofts' daughter as a member of Seals and Crofts 2. Anyone here is certainly welcome to join in with us if they would like to.
