mdh - I had always thought when I heard "Silence Is Golden" on the radio back in the day that it was the Four Seasons. I know it was the flip-side to the Four Seasons' "Rag Doll" originally. I guess I saw the FS singing it on television one day and just assumed it was them who I was hearing on the radio each time. Very interesting! Thanks to my aunt, I still have the following Tremeloes song on a 45 when she gave it to me back around 1967 which was written by Cat Stevens: "Here Comes My Baby"
