I had purchased the following artist's LP new from another $1 bin. It contained his hit song that's featured here. Sadly he passed away in 1994 from a brain tumor at the age of only 43. He co-wrote James Brown's big hit, "Living In America." Hall and Oates covered his song on their "Our Kind Of Soul" CD which was an entire collection of soulful cover songs. Unfortunately, in my opinion anyway, I think H&O's version lacked the energy of the original. DAN HARTMAN "I Can Dream About You" Hall and Oates' Version
