mdh - What a classic! I really don't know much about Otis Redding, however. Recording the song on the first take is very impressive! Interesting is the artificial sound of the seagull. I can't think of Otis Redding's other hits without having to google them, unfortunately. I must admit though that I think Michael Bolton did a great job covering the song. Also a great classic by the following group who got their name from their manager, Eddie O'Jay. They originate out of Canton, Ohio. Who doesn't like this song? "Love Train"
